The most recent edition of CFT's Equivalence Policy is now available for download from the download section of the website.

The Technical Commission has given the policy a great deal of consideration. It is now updated from its first publication.

The policy seeks to strike a balance between welcoming divers who have been trained by other agencies and ensuring the standards established in CFT in instructing, practise & examination are not compromised.

It is our wish that divers joining CFT remain in the organisation and seek their training, where available, from the organisation.

Finally, the policy also sets out the requirements for candidates who have received outside training to become or become recognised as Diver Coxswains.
