Monty Halls is a writer, explorer, television presenter and public speaker. A former Royal Marines officer who worked for Nelson Mandela on the peace process in South Africa, he left the services in 1996 to pursue a career in leading expeditions

Frances Dipper     Coral Reef or Coral Grief

Frances Dipper has always loved the sea, in spite of being brought up on a farm in deepest Warwickshire. She is now a marine consultant, lecturer and author and has been studying marine life for over 30 years. She has dived extensively in the UK, Middle East and Far East and is currently a volunteer with the MCS working on coral reef survey and monitoring in the Semporna Islands, Borneo

Stewart Andrews A Practical Approach to Quality Decompression

Stewart has been diving for the last 22 years and since 2003 on
Inspiration rebreathers. He is an active instructor with Dalkey
Scubadivers and most of his 120+ dives per year are completed on a 10
litre cylinder!

Emmet Johnston

Basking Shark Project

Emmett Johnston is Conservation Ranger for Inishowen, Co. Donegal with the National Parks and Wildlife Service. He is editor of www.nature.ie and has published extensively on conservation topics and wildlife affairs. An active crewmember with Lough Swilly RNLI he spends the majority of his time surveying sharks on the North West Coast aboard his yacht 'Pladda'
